    Speaker: Rachel Smith , Planning and Development Services Executive Summary: The owners of the properties located at 2804, 2808, and 2818 Macedonia Ro ad have petitioned for annexation to enable connection to Cary utilities. The site is part of a rezoning approved on June 27, 2024 (23-REZ-06) and development plan 25-DP-3995, which is currently under review. Cary is also petitioning to annex a portion of right-of-way (ROW) that is not currently within the corporate limits to facilitate the proposed closure of a portion of Cary’s ROW along Jones Franklin Road that is adjacent to the overall development site.     Speaker: Rachel Smith , Planning and Development Services Executive Summary: The owners of property located at 2721, 2723, and 2809 Macedonia Road and 2410, 2504, 2514, and 2520 Jones Franklin Road have petitioned for annexation of the properties so they may connect to Town utilities in association with development plan 24-DP-5628 currently under review and a previously approved rezoning, 20-REZ-12. On March 26, 2026, Council adopted a resolution to hold a public hearing on the annexation request on April 16 , 2026.
