  4. 1. Resolution Removing Public Hearing 25-A-02 from the Agenda
    Consent agenda Annexation
    Speaker: Katie Drye, Planning and Development Services Executive Summary: On Oct. 23, 2025, Council adopted a resolution to set a public hearing for 25-A-02 Ferrell Road Annexation to occur on Nov. 20, 2025. Since that date, staff has determined that additional time is needed to complete the analysis of the annexation petition. The public hearing will be scheduled for a future date that is not yet determined. Recommendation: That Council adopt the attached resolution removing 25-A-02 Ferrell Road Annexation from the Nov. 20, 2025 Council Agenda.
  5. 2. 25-A-08 2220 Jones Franklin Road
    Public hearing Annexation
    Speaker: Erin Puckett , Planning and Development Services Executive Summary: The owners of property located at 2220 Jones Franklin Road have petitioned for annexation of the property so the existing dwelling on the site may connect to Town utilities due to poor well water quality. Pursuant to statute, the town clerk has determined the petition to be sufficient, and Council must now call for a public hearing on the request. Associated Case: None Recommendation: That Council adopt the attached resolution calling for a public hearing on Dec. 11, 2025.
  6. 1. Renaming of Property at Earnest Jones

    Speaker: Mayor Harold Weinbrecht Executive Summary: Property owned by Cary along Earnest Jones Road in Chatham County to be named as Bryson Nature Preserve in recognition of the outstanding contributions of longtime Councilmember Jennifer Bryson Robinson.
