What's on this agenda
Hillsborough's Parks and Recreation Board planned to elect a new chair and vice chair and review the 2016 master plan for Kings Highway Park, including how it handles stormwater, utilities and the park's historical resources.
The rest of the agenda was routine: minutes approval, reports from the town's other boards, and updates from each board member on the park they oversee as steward.

Meeting recap
What happened, drawn from the records published after the meeting. Minutes
The board elected Richard von Furstenberg as chair and Paul Weinberg as vice chair, both by 7-0 votes. Reviewing the Kings Highway Park master plan, members discussed inviting town staff to a future meeting to cover stormwater and utilities in the park, including its dam and water treatment intake, and agreed to look at adding flood information and safety recommendations to the plan.
Commissioner Robb English updated the board on the town's new police chief and the county's land use plan. Board members reported on repairs and conditions at the parks they steward, and staff described recent repairs at Turnip Patch Park. The board adjourned at 8:30 p.m.; minutes were approved November 18.
