The story so far

The North Carolina House has carried the Governor's vetoes on its calendar through late summer. On 31 August, 2 September, 28 September and 30 September its calendar listed bills for reconsideration of vetoes. By 30 September there were five: Senate Bill 50, permitless concealed carry; House Bill 437, drug-free zones and a public-camping ban; House Bill 96, squatter removal and pet shops; House Bill 377, court changes; and House Bill 958, election changes.

None of the five bills' histories records an action on those dates. The Senate's calendars for the same days named no bills. The General Statutes Commission and its subcommittees posted meeting notices through early October with no agenda attached.
