The Wake Forest Planning Board takes up its own calendar for 2024. Board members raised concerns about how many special called work sessions the board has needed each year, and staff drew up three alternate meeting-date patterns meant to cut down on those extra sessions: the second Tuesday of each month, the first Thursday, or the first Wednesday.
