The Inter-Faith Council, which had appealed for a share to cover Homestart shelter utilities and pest control, lost out; members debated the scoring process, IFC's finances, and the impact on both programs before voting, with three members recusing themselves, one opposed, and the rest in favor. Staff said HUD approved OCPEH for technical assistance on its governance structure and coordinated entry process, kicking off with a public town hall September 11 at the Drakeford Library Complex. The team also heard that the CASA youth transitional apartment complex holds its grand opening this week and that the partnership's expansion budget has been finalized with all member municipalities' approval.
