The director reported that only two of 42 eligible voters cast ballots in the City of Durham primary held at a precinct in the county, and both voters made the same choices. Because of that, the board received a memo on preserving ballot-choice confidentiality, which will be filed with the election abstracts. The board then certified the results and signed the official abstracts, with results redacted to protect voter confidentiality, for filing with the state board, the county board, and the Durham city clerk.
