    County and city transportation staff present the draft FY27 work program for the Durham County Transit Plan, the half-cent sales tax plan voters approved in 2011. The draft is a status quo budget plus one new project, an update of the transit plan itself, and leaves $68.1 million in city construction requests unfunded. The city's slides project an $8.2 million transit fund shortfall in FY27, which they put at $48 a year on the tax bill for a median $415,000 home.
