The detailed estimate from Edifice\, the construction manager\, puts construction at $10.9 million\, down from a preliminary $12.9 million after square footage cuts and value engineering. With furnishings\, technology\, demolition of the existing building and a $500\,000 contingency\, the project total is $12.63 million. The town designed a four-story\, 42\,000-square-foot town hall in 2020 and did not build it because of cost.\n\nThe board also takes up the Robeson Creek Park master plan for 72 acres the town received last year as parkland in lieu of fees. Pond + Company prepared the plan\, and trails ranked first in public input\, followed by water features and play areas. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommended approval 4-0\, and staff suggest approving the plan with limited design so that others can build improvements.
