Durham's transit plan would pay the other 67 percent.\n\nThe rest is operating money. GoTriangle asks for five more weekday revenue hours on Route 800\, which runs between UNC Hospitals and the Regional Transit Center by way of Southpoint and RTP. Boardings there rose 29 percent over the past year and round trips routinely run past 120 minutes\, putting the route behind schedule. GoTriangle also wants $32\,438 more for the Transit Assistance Program\, which paid for more than 400\,000 fully subsidized trips in FY25 against an $82\,500 budget.
