DESCRIPTION:Planning Board\n\nChatham County's Planning Board takes up the Fearrington Preserve proposal Tuesday. Fearrington Property Development asks to rezone about 371.8 acres off Andrews Store\, Parker Herndon and Morris roads in Baldwin Township from R-1 to a Compact Community conditional district. A companion first plat would lay out 574 lots on 365 acres of the same seven parcels.\n\nThe board also reviews the Floresta Springs first plat\, 83 lots on 157.08 acres off Alex Cockman and Elmer Keck roads\, and a request by RTP Gardens LLC to rezone a parcel near Bob Horton Road and US 64 outside Apex to Regional Business for multiple uses. A small R-5 to R-1 rezoning at 3756 Corinth Road in Moncure is on consent.
